Ingredients
600g strong white flour
150g cold butter, diced
150g cold beef dripping, broken into pieces
2 tbsp ice cold water
Instructions
Blitz the dripping and flour together In a mixer until smooth with no lumps.
Add the cold butter to the mixture and continue to blend together until it begins to look like breadcrumbs.
Add in the ice water and keeping on mixing until it starts to take on the qualities of a dough.
Take it out of the bowl, roll it into a sausage shape, wrap it tightly in clingfilm and place in the fridge for a minimum of 30 minutes until chilled.
